Lenten Confessions:

"How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?"

"A wood chuck would chuck as much as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood."

That is a lot of work to be done. But the work is never done. God's work is never done. Today about two dozen people were at the church helping prepare for the "All Church" Annual Chicken Dinner. This event does more than raise money for the church. It provides a venue for fellowship for several days. It invites the community to share in our blessings from God. It affords us an opportunity to show others God's love and compassion. The money raised is put into funds to do more of God's work.

I am proud of my church and its mission. I am thankful for the people of the church, for their commitment to one another and God is great. I am a member if the Church and grateful that God has chosen me to help do God's work.

If you are able please join us for dinner.
