Do You Deja Vu?

Do you believe in Deja Vu? Has it happened to you? Can Deja Vu come true?

Many people don't believe in Deja Vu. They think that it is simply coincidence of something like that. I, on the other hand experience this phenomena way too often, sometimes to the point that it frightens me. I have dreams that depending on their content scare the hell out of me if they were to ever reappear as Deja Vu. But at times there are those that I wish I could live again.

For the most part any time I experience Deja Vu it is not the bad things that happen in dreams but just snippets of places and sounds that take me back to when I first experienced the event. The epiphany of the Deja Vu has occurred is enough to end the moment. It happens so quick that the events of the original time are not completed in their entirety. I am grateful of that because most of the time the original event was not pleasing, typically it involves someone or something happening that would cause hate, harm, and/or disappointment, like falling off a cliff. I would recognized the road to the cliff but the actual fall would not occur, at least not at this time.

I have had multiple Deja Vus from the same original experience and their time separation has varied from hours, days, to years. I had one event occur in the same dream over several years only to reoccur at one moment, linking all previous events to the one current epiphany. That was a mind blowing act.



Lately I've had some dreams that I know will Deja Vu but fear their occurrence. These dreams are repetitive in nature and share a common theme of "It's not good for Blake". It's dreams like these that make me wonder if we can guide our thoughts to ensure Deja Vu occurs or doesn't occur. Do we have a hand in making things happen or are we just along for the ride, no matter how bumpy it may be? If I fail to keep in contact with any of you then you know the Deja Vu did me in. If you know I'm still here doesn't mean everything is safe, just that the phenomenon hasn't happen yet.
