Lenten Confessions:
Forty days of Lent (excluding Sundays) is not
a bad thing. It's not as harsh as 40 days in the wilderness Jesus endured. It's
not 40 days and nights of rain and floods Noah and his family endured when God
wiped the earth clean. And its definitely not 40 yrs God's choosen wandered in
the desert before entering the promise land. It's 40 days you get to reflect on
the relationship you have with God. How great it that? So this is not a
punishment. It's a blessing revealed in a way only you can experience
individually with God. I pray your journey during Lent reveals to you that God
the father is also your best friend.
May the grace of God
be received by all.
