Mark 5:18-20
Jesus Restores a Demon-Possessed Man

 

¹⁸ As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. ¹⁹ Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” ²⁰ So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.




To follow Jesus does not mean you need to be part of the entourage. There are those that must leave Jesus' physical side and spread the Word of God. Spiritually Jesus is always with us. It is though our witness that others will be able to know him. So my brothers and sisters, the word for today is God, it is the same word as yesterday, and the days before, and tomorrow and the days after that. Help spread the word.

I am thankful I am used by God to help spread the Word of God. I am thankful I can feely discuss God's involvement in my life and the loves of those around me. I am thankful I can help others seek and reach salvation.
